AzALES Agricultural Credit Assessment System

In order to expand access to credit products for entrepreneurs working in the agricultural sector, the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) has joined the Agricultural Credit Agency and Development Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture of the country (AKIA), the agricultural credit rating system. Thus, the International Bank of Azerbaijan became the first bank in the country to join this system.
A system called AzALES was developed for the State Agency for the Development of Agro-lending with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the European Union, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
The system facilitates farmers' access to financial resources. At the same time, it allows banks and credit organizations to save resources and correctly assess risks.
This model was successfully integrated on the basis of the GNI Software complex as part of the implementation of an automated accounting and credit system for the State Agency for the Development of Agro-lending (AKIA) in 2018.
